Having the information below before leaving court will save you time, and money, and also give everyone an understanding of what is expected of visitations.
1. Ask the Judge or Mediator who will be paying for the visits, split or one party?
2. Frequency of supervised visitation and the required duration of the visits.
3. What are the consequences if the parental parent prevents the non-custodial parent from seeing the child?
4. What guest can or cannot attend supervised visitation due to safety reasons?
5. There are 3-types of supervision. Ask which is needed, Group Visits, Private Visits, or Monitored Exchanges.
6. When is the next court date to review and request unsupervised visitation?
